Growing up with my dad, Major Mike, as my mentor, I was lucky to get a head start on my finances. When I landed my first job at 14 at a local grocery store and tackle shop, my Dad helped me with my taxes at first, but being the independent type, I soon took it on myself. I’ll never forget spending HOURS in college trying to file taxes on my own, just to avoid a fee— and all I had was a W-2! With that knowledge, I became the go-to friend for tax help. After a decade in tax and financial services, I’ve seen how much confusion there is out there, which is why I started this firm—to make tax navigation simple. After all, while we all have to pay our taxes, but no one needs to leave a tip!
